It seems as if they have all thrown in the towel the idea of abstaining from sex until marriage. As a young person, I disagree and am appalled by the idea that my generation cannot control their sexual appetites. Now we mandate a shot that makes young people think once again that sex free-for-all is a good idea and holds no consequences. I disagree. We all need to take responsibility for our choices. If you choose to have sex outside of marriage, there are consequences like pregnancy and STDs. One shot and one piece of latex will not rid the world of these diseases. Teaching people self-respect and responsibility will do a much better job.
