Hello, I couldn’t find your email address in a hurry, so my question is: May I have the email address for the author of the “Dear Parent” blog? I wanted to send her a note, but things screwed up when I tried to do so. (No, I wasn’t trying to post a comment at her blog.) Thank you.
In the meantime, while I certainly agree with trying to teach the kids actually to deal with failure and disappointment, the problem remains of how to do so in a way that works when kids are surrounded by kids who never seem to have to suffer at all. Sounds dangerously tricky.
