Hi Marsha - How great that you went to LTHS. I'm so glad if that made your day a little fine, and thanks so much for writing in.

Blessings to you - Betsy Hart

Betsy, I've always loved your columns as I feel they are right on. Imagine my surprise, sipping my coffee in Valencia, California and seeing my old High School, LTHS, as the subject of your article in our small town paper, The Signal!!! I was THRILLED with what the parents did, and I looked in my alumni directory to see if the principal had GONE to LT, and indeed he did. That tells me how much pride he had for the school HE went to and now he stepped up to do the right thing. I was proud of all my old neighbors, parents, Mr. Franson and school. In 1967, we NEVER would have "dirty danced" for fear of suspension (or worse)! Hopefully, the change back to that will be permanent. Thanks for the kick from the past!!!!!
